surgery went well. after coming into the hospital it took them THREE tries to get my IV in. shortly after that ordeal i was given relaxers and i do not remember anything after that. i met the doctor prior to the IV and he informed me that there was a couple that was very appreciative on the other side. this calmed my nerves a bit. funny, i've had copious amounts of blood taken in these past 20 days and given numerous injections but the idea of an IV rattled me!
i woke up at 10:30am and the nurse gave me my check for $4000 along with pain killers. i haven't had to take any yet. i am tired but not definitely not feeling up to being social. they suggested i may feel cramping, but i would call my discomfort just slight pain.
overall i would do the process over again but most likely will decline a second cycle. it may appear harmless but i don't feel repeating it again would be the best. i'm looking forward to returning to my exercise/training for the 10K. perhaps in a few months i will feel differently.
now to spend the night with berkley watching elizabeth.
